Catching up!

John and I sincerely hope that everyone has had a wonderful summer. It is hard to believe that it is coming to an end. When exactly did life start moving so fast?! :) We enjoyed a wonderful visit with my great-grandmother and grandmother during the summer, and I cherish the fact that I have these amazing ladies in my life. What things did you do this summer that you will always remember and cherish?

One other note that I would like to pass along to anyone that has children in their life... whether it is your own child, a grandchild, a neice/nephew, etc. There is a fabulous sale here in Abilene that is held twice per year. It's the Dittos for Kiddos sale, and it's simply wonderful. I have shopped this sale for four years now, and I have sold my items for three years. It's a great way to get rid of unwanted items (outgrown clothing, toys, videos, books, etc) and purchase "new" ones at a huge discount.
